QUALITY SYSTEM
   

Mission
The mission of GOG is to provide Offshore Management and Technical Services for the design, engineering, services, management and execution of activities for the offshore petroleum industry.
Vision
GOG’s vision is to be the offshore contractor of choice selected by our Customers, based on the quality, safety and environmental aspects of the services that we offer.

Goals
These quantifiable goals have been identified by GOG to assist in achieving the vision outlined. These are as follows:
 
To work towards zero injuries on our worksites;
 
Take proactive measures for reducing and eliminating risks pertaining to occupational health and safety;
 
Abide with all applicable legislations and other requirements related to Health, Safety, Environment and Service Quality;
 
Upgrade on technology, skills and knowledge of co-workers and strive for enhancing customer satisfaction in a safe & healthy working environment;
 
To work towards zero pollution on our worksites with protection of flower, fauna and life;
 
To work with protection to air, land and water being implemented from planning to the completion of work activities;
 
To protect our valued workforce, subcontractors and clients personnel;
 
To protect our equipment and assets and that of our clients at all times;
 
Exceeding the Customer’s expectations on all projects by having no complaints;
 
To reduce the “Cost of loss” to “Cost of operations” ratio by 10% every year.
Gulmar Offshore Middle East is certified for ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and demonstrates its commitments in Project Management capabilities.

Compliance to statutory, contractual and internal requirements is ensured through Contract reviews, Document preparation checks; Internal quality surveillance; Compliance measurements; Timely action for identified deviations and Management reviews.

A suitable blend of internal verifications and audits of organisational units through quality system audits, quality system evaluations, compliance audits and quality surveillance are planned and implemented.

At the end of a project or at agreed periods the experience accumulated is reviewed and reports are established to provide management with sufficient information to be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality system.

Gulmar Offshore is a permanent member of International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) for Diving and Marine Divisions. Our skills and resources meet the best international standards and industry practices.


VESSEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
   
As vessel owners and managers it’s our prime responsibility to ensure best practices when in territorial and international waters. Gulmar Offshore is certified for ISM/ISPS code and adheres to applicable norms. Dedicated Marine department is responsible for the upkeep of the assets and maintaining the ISM system.


HEALTH & SAFETY

Proactive Health & Safety is the core strength of Gulmar. We believe that all accidents can be avoided through good work practices and top of the mind awareness. All employees at Gulmar, contribute to the health and safety culture. Gulmar Offshore is certified to the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health & Safety Management System. All projects are taken through Formal Risk Assessments prior to mobilization. At Gulmar we are driven by the philosophy “A Safe Worksite is good Business”.
ENVIRONMENT

We consciously promote awareness and support environment protection and preservation. At Gulmar our philosophy is that healthy work conditions and environmental protection is a part of good management practice, which improves business results by reducing injuries, ill-health, losses and liabilities, while at the same time improves morale and contributes to productivity.
